Are we more concerned about the actions of others than our own relationship with God? Are we aware of how our words affect those around us? This is not an issue new to us today. During the 1800's, there was a schism in the Church in England between two preachers - Joseph Parker and Charles Spurgeon. Spurgeon publically questioned the spiritual integrity of Parker because Parker occasionally attended the theater. Parker, likewise, questioned the spiritual integrity of Spurgeon because he smoked cigars on occasion. Who was right? Let's see what the Bible has to say in Romans 14:1-12.
