Mission Statement: Showing Grace, Sharing Christ, Building Believers

Worship: We desire to provide an atmosphere conductive to worship, both corporately and personally, that encourages an intimate relationship with God, and awareness of His presence, that reflects God’s worth and glory to a watching world. We will try to be fresh and relevant in our approach to our worship experiences. John 4:23-24, Psalm 150

Evangelism: We envision our entire church family having a personal relationship with Christ and being equipped to boldly share their faith in a clear and relevant way to people of our generation and lead them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We will do this through personal evangelism, mass evangelism, supporting various mission endeavors, and starting mission churches. Matthew 28:16-20, Acts 1:3-11

Discipleship: We envision a church of Christ’s followers, from all cultures and races, who have an intimate relationship with God through Jesus Christ, growing into a Christ-like maturity by discovering our spiritual gifts and being equipped to use them in ministry, service and outreach. 2 Timothy 2:2, Ephesians 4:11-16

Ministry:   We desire to be a church where God’s grace is understood and extended toward every person we meet in and outside our church family. We will show God’s love and care by attempting to meet the physical, practical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs of people God brings to us through His power and provision. James 1:27, 1 John 3:16-18

Fellowship: We will provide opportunities for our church family to gather in both structured and unstructured activities that will develop friendships and allow us to share life together. Specifically, we will weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice. 1 Corinthians 16:2, 1 Corinthians 4:1-2, 2 Corinthians 8:1-5

Stewardship: We will strive to be good stewards of the time, talents and treasures God has blessed us with as inpiduals, families and as a church. We will seek to increase tithing, effectively manage our physical properties and resources, and to encourage our people to support the various ministries of our church with all of their heart. Malachi 3:8-10, 1 Corinthians 16:2, 1 Corinthians 4:1-2, 2 Corinthians 8:1-3

Scriptures: We envision our people continually growing in their knowledge, understanding, and application of God’s inerrant Word. We will do this through relevant and fresh preaching, teaching and personal study of the scriptures. 2 Timothy 3:15-17, Matthew 5:17-18

Prayer: We desire to be a people of fervent and ongoing prayer because we have an attitude of total dependence on God and we will seek His blessing and power for our local and world-wide ministry. Luke 11:1-4, Matthew 21:12-13, 1 Thessalonians 5:17

Family: Since we believe that healthy family units are crucial to the church and society, we will attempt to provide a biblically based, practical approach to ministering to the needs of singles, couples, parents, youth and children. Genesis 2:18-24, Ephesians 5:21-33

Teamwork: Each church member should operate as a member of the team and for the benefit of the church as a whole. Views and ideas presented should be for the good of the church family and not for personal advantage. Unity of the spirit, but not necessarily uniformity, is a core value of this church. 1 Corinthians 1:10-14, Ephesians 4:1-6
